Are you a big fan of the sport? Do you go in for sport? Is your answer "Yes?" Then, you will be interested in best educational institutions with developed sports life. We conducted a survey in the majority of universities to get into a picture of the importance of sport in the life of the particular place. Here is what we’ve got (in no particular order)
Northumbria University
Sports Center of this university was opened six years ago. For now, students can participate in approximately 40 sports clubs. Moreover, the student can get a degree in particular kind of sport to become a coach.
St. Mary’s University College
This college claims to have all needed sports clubs (about 20) and asks to contact with Athletic Union President if you do not find your kind of sport on the list. Facilities of this place are pretty good: two pitches, dance studio, the gyms, and 3 sports halls.
University of Bath
48 sports clubs to participate and various sports programs – that is the best way to describe sports life in the university of Bath. Students can choose between such courses: Sport and Social Sciences, Sports Performance, Sport and Exercise Science, Sport and Exercise Medicine.
University of Stirling
This university was designed as the Scotland’s University of Sporting Excellence, and it proves its idea. There are a lot of facilities for 43 sports clubs, such as triathlon, skydiving, Gaelic football etc. For example, students can enjoy the 50m swimming pool and indoor tennis center.
Brunel University
This university has a lot of sports clubs, from conventional to extraordinary ones. Students can enjoy hockey, football, karate, badminton, Karting, Sub Aqua etc. There are large sports halls with archery net and climbing walls so that students can practice at any time of the year.
Durham University
It is considered to be one of the best universities for those, who want to go in for sport. The administration claims that 90% of student participate in one of the sports clubs. Moreover, they can get a degree of a professional coach in 10 disciplines.
Leeds Metropolitan University
